Missing Montco Woman: Authorities Search Landfill, Report Says

LIMERICK, PA - Authorities are searching a Berks County landfill in connection with the disappearance of a Limerick woman who was last seen 10 days ago, according to a report.

Montgomery County investigators searched the Pioneer Crossing Landfill in Birdsboro on Thursday for clues in the disappearance of Jennifer Brown, 43, of Royersford, 6abc reported.

On Wednesday, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said investigators received hundreds of tips from the public regarding the case, but none have proved any significant leads and there have been no credible sightings.

Brown was last seen at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 by a friend and business associate in the Limerick/Royersford area, police previously said. She was scheduled to pick up her 8-year-old son from the bus stop the following afternoon on Jan. 4, but did not show up.

Her vehicle was parked outside of her home, and her car keys, wallet, purse and work cellphone were found inside.

Her friends have set up Facebook pages to share information. Brown, who resided in Statford Court, is described as a white female with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5-feet, 1-inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

Brownโ€™s family has increased the reward for information leading to her whereabouts to $15,000.
