Pennhurst Asylum Hosting 'Horror Camp Out' This Summer

SPRING CITY, PA — Summer is just getting underway, but who says the Halloween spirit only lives in the autumn?

An upcoming "horror campout" at Pennhurst will combine the frights and delights of a night in the woods with the paranormal history of the Asylum.

Campers have to participate in a ghost hunt, solve puzzels, complete challenges, and explore the mysteries of Pennhurst "as an army of Monsters descends upon them," according to organizers.

There are two levels of experience: junior, for those wanting a less "extreme" night, and "senior," for those looking for the full experience.
