Schuylkill River Towns To Host Two Programs In Phoenixville
The unique events will highlight the Phoenixville area's biodiversity and history.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Schuylkill River Towns Program (SRTP), an initiative of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, is hosting two community events in the Phoenixville area this month.
On Saturday, May 7, SRTP will be hosting a tour of the Lock 60 area of the Schuylkill Canal in Mont Clare. Lead by a guide from the Schuylkill Canal Association, this tour will cover the history and natural features of the area.

On May 22nd, join SRTP at Marly's on Bridge Street in Phoenixville for a presentation on freshwater fishing techniques as well as the aquatic ecology of the Schuylkill River.
This event is open to all skill sets, from those interested in fishing to expert anglers. The event is free, but space is limited - click here to register.
