Spring-Ford remains among the top schools in the state, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report. Details:

ROYERSFORD, PA β€” Spring-Ford Senior High School remains among the top schools in the state, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report.

The school ranked 31st overall in Pennsylvania and sixth in Montgomery County, trailing only Harriton (10th), Lower Merion (14th), Wissahickon (16th), Upper Dublin (27th), and Lower Moreland (29th).

The outlet also placed Spring-Ford 1,048th in the country.

"Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams," U.S. News said in their report on Spring-Ford. "The AP participation rate at Spring-Ford High School is 51 percent. The total minority enrollment is 27 percent, and 18 percent of students are economically disadvantaged."

Philadelphia's Julia R. Masterman Secondary School led Pennsylvania, while Arizona's Basis Peoria school was first in the nation.
