Spring-Ford Student Wins Award At Cross-County Art Show
A Spring-Ford student won an award at a competitive art show featuring work from students across Bucks and Montgomery counties.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- A Spring-Ford High School student won a prize at a recent art show that featured work from student artists in 30 high schools across Bucks and Montgomery counties.
The 30th Annual "Touch the Future" Art Show was held at Arcadia University.
Spring Ford's Jordan Sigler won the Color Drawing category award. She is taught by Corinne Rudloff.

The show dates to 1987 when the Mideastern Region/Pennsylvania State Education Association founded the. It was partially inspired by the death of widely renown teacher-astronaut-hero Christa McAuliffe, who died in the Challenger accident.
McAuliffeβs statement, βI touch the future. I teachβ resonated with the group and the βTouch the Futureβ art show name was born, organizers said.

Art teachers Lynne Pribis of Upper Dublin High School, Connie Berger of Cheltenham High School, Carly Najera of Bensalem High School, and Terry OβNeill of Neshaminy High School will chair the show.
The work will be on display open to the public from through March 2 at Arcadia's Commons Art Gallery Area and Great Room Lobby at 450 S. Easton Road in Glenside.
