A Spring-Ford teacher recently had a chance to prove her knowledge on "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire."

ROYERSFORD, PA β A Spring-Ford teacher recently had a chance to prove her knowledge on "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire."
Melanie Bowen, who teaches history in the 10-12 Center, will be featured in episodes on Tuesday night. Episodes with Bowen also aired Monday night.
Bowen is an experienced game show contestant, having won "Wheel of Fortune" in 2016.

The popular, half-hour quiz show airs at 2 p.m. on ABC.
TV personality Regis Philbin hosted the first version back in 1999. Chris Harrison, of Bachelor fame, began hosting in 2015.

Only a dozen people have answered the final question correctly and walked away with the top prize in the 19-year history of the show. The last time someone won the top prize was in 2009, according to an informal list here.
