Spring-Ford Area students will return to school in less than 30 days on Aug. 26, according to the district's official calendar. Students will start the year off with two short weeks; Aug. 30, Sept. 2 and Sept. 5 are days off for the students and teachers. Four emergency days are built into the schedule for Feb. 17, and April 17 and 21; in case of snow days throughout the winter, those days off will be removed from the schedule. The last day of school for students is planned for June 13, 2014.
