The group was wearing dirt bike-style helmets, and were told by police that riding was not allowed in the park. The teens did not stop and "mocked and cursed" the officer and continued to speed through the park, attempting to damage the grass, according to authorities.

When another police officer arrived, the teens fled onto Black Rock Road and headed east on Arcola Road at a high rate of speed, police said.
