GALLERY: Despite Rain, a Good Earth Day Crowd

Vendors and visitors attend Earth Day event and Farmers' Market

Although there was rainy weather, quite a few people still came out to on Sunday for the annual Earth Day celebration and Farmers' Market. 

Program coordinator Allyson Knight said that most of the vendors made it out to the park. Several food-related businesses were represented, as well as other local businesses and a local Girl Scout troop.

The Girl Scouts were showing off their recycled t-shirt tote bags.

"You cut the sleeves off, sew the bottom, and you have a tote bag," one Scout explained.
