1 Arrested In String Of Montco Home Burglaries In 2023: Police
Police said the man smashed glass doors and gain entry to homes, and stole more than $1 million in items.
LOWER MORELAND, PA — A months long investigation has led to the arrest of a man who police say committed at least five home burglaries in Montgomery County and came away with around $1 million in items.
The incidents occurred back in 2023, between July and October, within the same development in Lower Moreland Township.
Homes were targeted along both Pine Road and Red Lion Road.

Giorgi Maxarashvilii, 41, used a similar entry methods each time, kicking in the rear glass door or forcing open doors, according to police.
Incidents occurred on July 11, July 15, Aug. 6, Sept. 9, Sept. 23, and Oct. 14, police said.

Maxarashvili was arrested in the company of another man for loitering and prowling in Bucks County in Nov. 2023, and police eventually were able to connect Maxarashvili to the Lower Moreland incidents based on his appearance and clothing.
Maxarashvili was charged with numerous counts of felony burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and more. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
