Dirty, Musty Tap Water Complaints In Some Montco, Bucks Co. Towns

Some residents in eastern Montgomery County and lower Bucks County recently complained their tap water was musty and tasted bad.

MONTGOMERY & BUCKS COUNTIES — Residents in some eastern Montgomery County and lower Bucks County communities recently reported that water coming out of the taps in their homes was dirty looking and tasted bad, and water officials are saying the problem could be linked to algae at the water source.

Alga bloom in the Neshaminy Creek is apparently to blame for the harmless stinky and discolored tap water, according to representatives with Aqua America, reports CBS 3 Philadelphia.
