Drunken Man Falls Off Train at Philmont Station, Police Say

A man faces charges of public drunkenness after registering a .249% BAC at the Philmont Train Station.

A man in his 20's fell off the train while attempting to exit on to the platform at the Philmont Train Station.

A witness told police the man was leaning against a railing next to the railroad tracks acting confused. According to the police, the man had poor balance and had slurred speech when they arrived. A broken 40-ounce bottle of beer was leaking on the ground next to the man. The man was given a breathe test that revealed a .249 percent BAC. He faces charges of public drunkenness.

The Lower Moreland Police Department and Bryn Athyn Ambulance responded to the scene.
