Drunk Montco Man Brought Machete, Nail Gun Into Bar After Being Kicked Out: Police

The man had been kicked out and fled before police arrived, but then returned after they'd left, authorities said.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — A drunk man who was kicked out of a Montgomery County bar returned later with an array of weapons, including a machete and a nail gun, police said.

Igor Dzhumaev, 44, has been charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, harassment, public drunkenness, and related counts.

The incident occurred on Aug. 2 on the 2800 block of Pine Road in Lower Moreland.

Dzhumaev and another man were kicked out of the bar earlier in the night due to "intoxication and becoming argumentative," according to the police report.

Police were called, and the pair fled the scene before authorities arrived.

At around 11:03 p.m., Dzhumaev returned to the bar, opening the truck of a vehicle and taking out a machete and a nail gun, police said.

He then began walking toward the bar, according to authorities.

Dzhumaev was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
