Giant Supermarket In Montco Hosts Stuff-A-Truck Food Benefit Program

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A supermarket chain is hosting a food donation program this weekend to benefit local school children.

The Giant supermarket in Lower Moreland Township will host a Stuff-a-Truck event beginning Friday and running through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

The program is part of Giant's Feeding School Kids initiative that is designed to eliminate hunger in local schools.

Select Giant and Martin's stores will host the Stuff-a-Truck event this weekend at certain locations, including the one at 737 Huntingdon Pike, which will benefit the Lower Moreland Township School District.

During the program, shoppers can donate nonperishable breakfast items, such as cereals, granola bars, oatmeal, etc., which will help benefit their local schools' food pantries and backpack programs.

Another local additional drop-off location is the Giant at 1201 Knapp Road in North Wales.
