Sex offender safety maps are available for the following towns:
- Norristown: 92 registered offenders
- Pottstown: 61 registered offenders
- Upper Moreland: 34 registered offenders
- Plymouth Township: 33 registered offenders
- Lower Merion: 32 registered offenders
- Hatboro and Horsham: 31 registered offenders
- Lansdale: 25 registered offenders
- Lower Providence: 23 registered offenders.
- Limerick: 21 registered offenders
- Upper Dublin: 17 registered offenders
- Ambler and Lower Gwynedd: 14 registered offenders
- Lower Moreland: 9 registered offenders
The following nearby towns are not in Montgomery County, but are close enough that they warrant attention from residents:

- Phoenixville: 17 registered offenders
- Roxborough-Manayunk: 21 registered offenders

More than half of rape/sexual assault incidents happen within a mile of the victim’s home, according to the United States Department of Justice. About 75 percent of victims know their attacker and 45 percent of victims are under 12-years-old.
