Lane Closures On Area Roads Next Week For Milling & Paving
Lanes will be closed in Lower Moreland, Upper Moreland, Abington and Upper Dublin Townships next week while PennDOT performs roadwork.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA β Drivers in the region may experience some traffic delays next week during roadwork scheduled to impact travel in several municipalities.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Thursday that a lane closure is scheduled beginning next week along Fitzwatertown Road between Route 263 (York Road) and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) in Upper Moreland, Abington and Upper Dublin Townships.
The scheduled closures will be from Sunday Aug. 15 through Friday Aug. 20 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m, as well as between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for milling and paving work.

A lane closure is also scheduled for Route 63 (Old Welsh Road) between Terwood Drive and Red Lion Road in Lower Moreland Township, also for paving and milling. That closure will also be taking place Sunday Aug. 15 through Friday Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Drivers are warned to allow extra travel time for their commutes during the scheduled roadwork as traffic may be impacted.
