Lower Moreland DUI Checkpoint Statistics

A DUI checkpoint was conducted in Lower Moreland on Friday, Sept. 14 at Huntingdon Pike and Byberry roads. There were 605 cars that passed through the checkpoint yielding the following results:

• 24 persons were tested
• 7 DUI arrests made
• 1 Underage driving citation issued
• 5 Act 64 drug arrests including:
  
  • 1 vehicle impounded pending search warrant
• 1 Open container citation was issued
• 2 Suspended license citations were issued
