Lower Moreland Field Hockey Shuts Out Cheltenham
The Lions won both of their scrimmages by identical 6-0 scores.
Maddy Kierod scored twice and added an assist to help lead the Lower Moreland field hockey team to a 6-0 win over Cheltenham in Tuesday's scrimmage.
Lindsay Boerner, Corey Mayer, Kristen Nichols and Emily Uliano each added a goal to add to the offensive effort. Mayer dished out two assists and finished with three points in the game.
Last Friday, the varsity girls earned another 6-0 win, this time over Landsdale Catholic in a scrimmage.Â

Kierod collected three goals while Mayer and Boerner added a goal and an assist each in the dominant win. Nicole Founds also scored for the Lions.
Lower Moreland will face Christopher Dock at home on Tues., Sept. 4 at 3:45 p.m
