LOWER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, PA —Mosquito spraying in Lower Moreland Township originally scheduled for Wednesday night has been moved to Thursday, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health announced.
Heavy rain is forecast in Montgomery County Wednesday as the remains of Hurricane Ida move across Pennsylvania.
The spraying will now take place on September 2 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Countyline Road and Byberry Road between Huntingdon Pike and Buck Road. County health officials said mosquitoes in this area have tested positive for the West Nile virus.
