John's Water Ice, A Philly Favorite, Opens A New Location In Montgomery County
The South Philly favorite is opening a second location in Montgomery County.
HUNTINGTON VALLEY, PA — John's Water Ice, a local neighborhood staple that has been a favorite in South Philly since it opened way back in 1945, will soon have a presence in the suburbs.
The business announced that it is opening a second location, this one in Huntingdon Valley, and that it is also adding a new food truck component.
John's made the announcement via Facebook, and it was also reported in some local media.

The new location, which is slated to open on Tuesday, will be situated at 2975 Philmont Avenue in the Huntingdon Valley section of Lower Moreland Township, just over the Philadelphia County line in suburban Montco.
Owner Anthony Cardullo, Jr. recently spoke to the website WhatNowPhilly about the venture.
