Philmont Avenue Night Work To Continue For 9 Months

LOWER MORELAND, PA — Philmont Avenue will see delays and lane closures overnight for months due to a lengthy construction project.

The work began on Nov. 11 and will continue until Aug. 2025, officials estimate.

It will impact the avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on each weekday, between Red Lion Road and Tomlinson Road.

Aqua Pennsylvania is replacing a water main along the road.

While the road will not be completely shut down, lane closures, flaggers, and delays should be expected, officials said.
