Summer Jazz Camp Offered in Lower Moreland
The Lower Moreland Music Boosters will run a week-long summer camp where students will be instructed by jazz professionals.
For one week only, the Lower Moreland Music Boosters will host a Summer Jazz Camp for middle school and high school aged students.
The camp will run from July 8 through July 12 and students will be instructed by Lower Moreland band director Erin Stroup, Sean J. Kennedy and special guest trumpet phenom Bob Wagner.
The camp is aimed at performers who play the saxophone, trumpet, guitar, piano, bass and drums. Instruction will be at Lower Moreland High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.

Students will have the opportunity to learn best jazz performance practices, jazz history, music theory, improvisation and active listening.
