County Line Road Expected to Re-Open in 2 Weeks

County Line Road has been closed for almost two months due to construction.

Lower Moreland Commissioners announced that they expect County Line Road to re-open in about two weeks.

The Bucks County Water Sewer Authority project has caused a detour in Lower Moreland closing the street between Huntingdon Pike and James Way. Motorists have had to work around the detour since the beginning of February.

Local offcials gave the latest update on the project at the Board of Commissioners meeting this week.

"I think within two weeks it will be open," the township said. "And then the second week in April they will start their trench restoration."

Construction crews are currently milling out the trench area along the road and filling in the gaps. Construction under the PA Turnpike and the railroad has already been complete.Β
