Water Main Break In Lower Moreland Shuts Down Traffic

LOWER MORELAND, PA — Red Lion Road has been shut down in Lower Moreland after a water main break over the weekend.

The break is along the 300 block of the road, and it is closed between Philmont and Pine, officials said.

Repair crews are on scene, but there is no estimated time for when it will be reopened.

Water main breaks have been increasingly common in Montgomery County the past several weeks as severe temperature fluctuations have placed additional strain on the infrastructure.
