Charge It! Montgomery County Soon To Add Charge Stations
Locations near the PA Turnpike will offer spots to 'plug in.'

This summer, drivers along the Pennsylvania Turnpike will find at least four rest stops to be "electrifying." The Turnpike Commission announced recently that four new charging stations will be installed this summer for electric cars.
According to the Lancaster New Era, a new charging station is scheduled to be added along the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the King of Prussia rest stop gas station. The additions are a part of a $2.5 million project by the commission.
Renee Vid Colborn, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, told the Era that a "fill-up" will cost "anywhere between $2 and $5, depending on the charging station we put in and the utilities."

"The charging stations will be positioned near the rear of the service plaza parking lots," said the Era's article. "Customers will be able to pay at the station with a credit card."
