Find Your Direction with Montco

County to offer Orienteering program on April 13.

Come to Lower Perkiomen Valley Park on Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. for a first look at the basics of orienteering. Visitors will meet members of the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association to learn about, and try their hand at, this fun, family activity.

Orienteering includes using a map and good observation techniques to find desired locations, much like a treasure hunt. Instructions in basic orienteering will be given from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the fun of using those new-found skills within the park.

This event is suitable for all ages. A donation of $2 per person is suggested and appreciated. Preregistration is preferred.
