Lower Providence Annual Fall Festival Boasts New Attractions Oct. 5
The annual festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Lower Providence township has added new attractions to its annual Fall Festival, which this year falls on Saturday, Oct. 5, at The Township complex, according to a township release.
The festival plans to offer a day of food, amusements, and free events and giveaways like a petting zoo, face painting pony rides, scarecrow-making, a police dog demonstration, and more. It will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
One of the new attractions is a “Mascot Run” where guests can cheer for local business mascots as they run a 50-yard dash. Also new is a pumpkin car and a “punkin chunkin’’ machine.

There are hayrides, a family fun zone, a touch-a-truck area, a township fire truck, the 2013 Township Car Show winners, a PennStarr helicopter, and more.
There will also be an area where local businesses will offer information and give-a-ways.
