Lower Providence Fire Dept. Responded To Numerous Calls Monday Morning
One of the calls involved assisting in a building fire in a HVAC unit at the Sky Zone trampoline park in neighboring Upper Providence.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Local volunteer firefighters had a busy morning on Monday responding to numerous calls for service.
One of the first calls to come in was an assist in neighboring Upper Providence Township, where a building fire was reported at the Sky Zone trampoline park in the Oaks section of Upper Providence.
Lower Providence firefighters came to aid in the call, which came in around 4:50 a.m. and was wrapped up by 6 a.m., according to a Facebook post from the Lower Providence Fire Department.

The fire at Sky Zone appeared to be isolated to a heating and air conditioning unit and fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze.
Lower Providence fire crews then went on to clear a fire alarm at the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church a little after 9 a.m., according to their social media post.

Emergency personnel were then sent to a call on Second Street in the Pawlings section of the township for a report of a vehicle fire in which the engine compartment was fully involved, according to fire officials.
Crews were able to put out the vehicle fire before being dispatched to the Eagleville section of the township where it was reported that a gas line had been struck.
That incident was ultimately placed under control and PECO officials were able to ultimately secure the gas service to the area.
