The Methacton School Board Has A New Member To Fill Out The Term Of A Former Director
Methacton School Board appointed Ken Rookstool to serve out the remainder of a four-year term expiring in December 2023.
WORCESTER TOWNSHIP, PA β The Methacton Board of School Directors recently appointed a community member to fill out the remaining term of a former member who resigned from the body earlier this month.
Ken Rookstool was appointed to the school board by a 7-1 vote earlier this month to serve the remainder of a four-year term that expires on December 2023, according to the Methacton School District.
The appointment comes after the resignation of former board member Kim Aubrey-Larcinese, who had served as a school director since December 2015.

While school board members in Pennsylvania are not required to have a background education, Rookstool happens to work in the field, having more than 17 years of experience in K-12 and university operations under his belt, according to the school district.
A bio provided by the district shows that Rookstool began his career by managing several K-12 tutoring centers in southern California, before moving back home to the Greater Philadelphia region and working in various capacities for three different area universities.
