Methacton Named Among Nation's Best Communities For Music Education
Methacton has it all when it comes to music, according to the prestigious award.
EAGLEVILLE, PA — The Methacton School District has once again been honored with a prestigious award recognizing its music education program.
The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation designated North Penn among its "Best Communities for Music Education" for 2023.
The program began in 1999.

According to the NAMM Foundation, the award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
In order to qualify for the award, schools must provide information regarding funding, graduation requirements, facilities, participation in music classes, and more.
