Parents Invited To Full-Day Kindergarten Info Session At Methacton School District
Full-day kindergarten has come to the Methacton School District. Administrators are welcoming families to an information session in January.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Families are being invited to an informational session on the new full-day kindergarten program at the Methacton School District.
The session is scheduled to take place on Jan. 13, 2022 with a snow date of Jan. 20. Start time is 7 p.m. and the session will take place in the auditorium of Arcola Intermediate School, located at 4001-A Eagleville Road in Eagleville.
Parents and guardians of students who will be starting kindergarten in the fall of 2022 are invited to attend the session, which will offer an overview of the full-day program, introduce Methacton's kindergarten culture, highlight how to prepare kindergarteners for the full-day program, and discuss educational activities that can be done at home to foster kindergarten readiness, according to the school district.

The informational session is free, but those interested in attending are asked to register in advance.
The Methacton School Board approved the full-day kindergarten program back in June.
