A Night of Celebration and Service at Collegeville Rotary
Collegeville Rotary gathered last night at Evansburg Winery for a memorable evening marked by recognition, fellowship, and new beginnings.
The evening included a warm welcome and induction ceremony to the club’s newest member, David Maris of Marco Motors. David brings a wealth of professional experience, community spirit, and enthusiasm for service. His commitment to supporting local initiatives and his passion for giving back align perfectly with Rotary’s values, and he is sure to be a tremendous asset to Collegeville Rotary.
One of the evening’s highlights was the presentation of the Outstanding Service Award to District Governor Mary Cook. The club honored Mary for her exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and the countless hours she devotes to strengthening Rotary throughout District 7430. Mary also shared a thoughtful and informative status update on District 7430’s priorities, outlining upcoming initiatives, opportunities for collaboration, and the continued focus on community impact across the district.
Club President Jay Browning reflected on the significance of the evening, stating,
“Recognizing Mary for her extraordinary service reminds us of why Rotary matters—her leadership elevates all of us. We are grateful for her vision and her partnership with Collegeville Rotary.”
