PA State Police Arrest NY Man For DUI After He Crashed Into Median
PA state police arrested a New York man for driving under the influence after troopers say he drove his car into a concrete median.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Pennsylvania State Police arrested a New York man recently and charged him with driving under the influence after troopers say he crashed his car into a concrete median on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Troopers announced the arrest of Celso Angel-Valentini, 33, of Yonkers, NY, after the defendant drove off the roadway while traveling in the area of Mile Marker 328 westbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Upper Merion Township on March 29.
When they arrived at the scene, officers said they found that Angel-Valentini had exited his lane of travel and veered into the cement median on the highway.

Troopers said they smelled an odor of alcohol on Angel-Valentini and, after conducting sobriety tests, they placed him under arrest and charged him with driving under the influence, according to a report from the state police.
The defendant agreed to undergo a blood test and he was transported to Paoli Hospital, according to police.

Angel-Valentini was released after being processed.
Records from magisterial district court show that Angel-Valentini was supposed to have been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 1.
