Police Investigating Widespread Vandalism to Vehicles over the Weekend

A total of 13 vehicles from Eagleville, Audubon and Trooper had their emblems removed during the overnight hours of May 18 and May 19.

The Lower Providence Police Department is investigating multiple vandalism incidents which occurred sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

According to the report, the suspects struck vehicles in Eagleville, Audubon and Trooper. In all cases, the emblems were removed from the vehicle, though police found no signs that the suspects attempted to gain entry into any of the vehicles.

  • A 2004 Ford Mustang and a 2009 Kia Sorrento on Midland Avenue in Eagleville.
  • A 2006 Honda Accord, 2002 Cadillac Deville, and a Oldsmobile Alero on Midland Avenue in Audubon.
  • A 2006 Cadillac CTS, 1999 BMW,  2013 Nissan Altima and an Acura CL on Fourth Street in Trooper.
  • A 2007 Dodge from Hillside Avenue in Trooper.
  • A 2006 Chrysler 300 from Second Street in Trooper.
  • A 2002 BMW 530i from Barry Avenue in Trooper.
  • A 2000 Lexus from Sunnyside Avenue in Audubon.

Nearly all of the owners told police that they had not seen or heard anything suspicious during the evening, but one victim stated that they observed a blue, late-model Toyota circling his neighborhood during the night of May 18. 

The victim told police they believed the vehicle was occupied by several hispanic or black males.

There were several reports of vandalism on Serenity Street in Skippack Township over the same timeframe, in which the paint jobs were damaged on 16 vehicles, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
