Police: Over $700 in Baby Formula Stolen from Ridge Pike Acme

Lower Providence Police reported that two males stole over $743.18 worth of baby formula.

According to a Lower Providence Police (LPP) report, at 3:33 p.m. on July 25, LPP received a report of two males stealing baby formula from Acme, located along Ridge Pike.

The report states that $743.18 worth of Similac, Gerber and Enfamil baby formula products were stolen. According to the report, one male was seen running eastbound down Ridge Pike, while the other had run behind the store.

The store’s dairy manager described to LPP of the male that ran eastbound was a white male, approximately 5-foot-9-inches, in his 30s, wearing a gray tee shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball hat. The second male was described as being thin-built.

West Norriton Police assisted in the search, as well as an LPP K-9 unit, but with negative results.  

It was also reported that the store’s surveillance footage would be given for the LPP investigation on July 26.
