Republicans need to get a job

political, Pennsylvania State House, budget, Representative Michael Corr

In the past week, Pennsylvania House Republicans, including my own State Representative, Michael Corr, voted to approve a budget that did not raise revenue but gutted our state’s education and environmental protection programs. It is laughable that they continue to think they are ‘fiscally responsible’ while behaving like a deadbeat parent who is too lazy to get a job, but instead sells valuables and raids his children’s college funds to pay the bills. The people of Lower Providence, West Norriton, Upper Providence, Collegeville, and Skippack deserve a Representative in Harrisburg who will protect the things our communities have invested in over the years, rather than dismantling them to fill a budget gap. We deserve a state legislature that will get off the couch and get to work raising revenue to pay our bills.
