Election Results: Hollenbach, Flanigan Lead Neshaminy School Board

Lower Southampton Township voters will decide in Tuesday's primary election among candidates for the Neshaminy School Board.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Voters went to the polls Tuesday to decide among candidates running in the primary election for the Neshaminy School Board, and Bucks County races for coroner and commissioner.

The races feature a battle on the Democratic ticket for Bucks County coroner between incumbent Meredith Buck and challenger Patti Campi. The coroner's office is based in Warminster.

Buck is running on her record as coroner for the past three years, saying she guided her office through the pandemic and also launched a program to bring proper military burials to unclaimed veterans.

Campi is campaigning to share county-specific data regarding the opioid crisis and mental health issues faced by residents of Bucks County.

For Bucks County Commissioner, there is a contested race on the Republican ticket for two seats with incumbent Gene DiGirolamo running against Pamela A. Van Blunk and Andrew L. Warren.

In the Neshaminy School District, Region 1 has a contested race.

Region 1 —School Board members Tina Hollenbach and Carlos Rodriguez have cross-filed to run for two, four-year terms against challengers Joan DeRosa, a Democrat, and Wendy Flanigan, who has also cross-filed.

With 0 percent of Lower Southampton Township precincts reporting, residents went to the polls to vote on their respective party's ballot.

Polls opened at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Results by the Bucks County Board of Elections are unofficial.

Bucks County Coroner —Democratic Ballot

  • Meredith Buck — 13,742 votes
  • Patti Campi — 21,698 votes

Bucks County Commissioner —Republican Ballot

  • Pamela A. Van Blunk — 14,946 votes
  • Gene DiGirolamo — 13,379 votes
  • Andrew L. Warren — 6,171 votes

Neshaminy School Board

(Region 1)

Democratic Ballot - Two seats

  • Tina Hollenbach — 307 votes
  • Carlos Rodriguez — 188 votes
  • Joan DeRosa — 420 votes
  • Wendy Flanigan — 465 votes

Republican Ballot - Two seats

  • Tina Hollenbach — 245 votes
  • Carlos Rodriguez — 168 votes
  • Wendy Flanigan — 123 votes
