Free Water Ice At Rita's In Lower Southampton Twp. To Welcome Spring

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Spring arrives Monday, and with it comes a sweet treat: Free Italian Ice from Rita's.

The Bensalem-based Rita's kicks off its season with its annual tradition of giving away free water ice to any customer without any strings attached.

All day Monday, Rita's locations around Lower Southampton Township and the region will serve free treats.

Rita's is located at 1401 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville-Trevose, and 1210 Northbrook Dr. in Trevose.

Just show up during the hours of noon to 9 p.m. at any Rita's for a tasty way to celebrate the first spring day.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard plans to open 40 new stores this year and expand into three states. The company is also offering offer E-commerce options and introducing a new Gummy Bears flavor.

There's no purchase necessary for the freebie Monday. Customers also do not need an app to get the free ice.
