Landmark Garden Center Closing In Lower Bucks Co.
Feeney's in Feasterville is holding a Going Out of Business sale after announcing its closure after 71 years.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Just days after ending an After Christmas Sale, Feeney's Garden Center is now holding a Going-Out-Of-Business Sale.
The landmark family-run Lower Bucks County business —known as a Christmas holiday destination —is closing after 71 years, its owners announced in a Facebook post.
"After 71 years of serving our wonderful community, Feeney's will be closing. This decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply grateful for the love, support, and loyalty you have shown us throughout the years," the post read. "You have all been more than customers, you have been family."

Feeney's owners did not say when the store would close or what would happen to the property.
The closing sale —which starts Friday —will give customers "one last chance to visit and stock up on treasured items," at the store in the 1100 block of Bustleton Pike, its owners said.

The store will offer customers discounts of 40-80 percent on merchandise.
Feeney's is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
"We thank you for all your years of support," Feeney's said.
Customers responded to the Facebook post with remorse, saying that Feeney's was an annual trek that some visited for decades.
"I went to Feeney’s every year with my parents as a child. When I started dating my boyfriend (who is now my husband), we continued the tradition," one poster said. "This past Christmas season, we brought our 9-year-old daughter to meet Santa Claus. I remember seeing him when I was younger and knowing he was the real deal. So incredibly sad to hear this news, but grateful my baby girl was able to experience it."
"Feeney's will always hold a special place in my heart!! So many great memories," another poster said.
"So hard to keep small businesses going," another poster said. "Everyone loves to have them there but doesn't remember to constantly support them."
