Neshaminy Football, Soccer Games Rescheduled Due To Papal Visit
Football and soccer games have been rescheduled, district officials said Monday.
Neshaminy School District said it does not anticipate changes to the school schedule due to Pope Francis‘ visit later this week but some sports events have been rescheduled.
The following details were released Monday by Neshaminy School District officials:
- The football game scheduled for this Friday, September 25th, at Abington, has been moved to Monday, September 28th at Abington. Kick-off remains at 7 p.m.
- The football game scheduled for Friday, October 2nd, at Neshaminy, has been moved to Saturday, October 3rd at Neshaminy to give players enough preparation time after the previous game. Kick-off at 6 p.m.
- The girls’ soccer games scheduled for Saturday, September 26th at Neshaminy, have been moved to Friday, October 23rd at Neshaminy with a 3:30 p.m. start
