TREVOSE, PA — A major new adventure park featuring rope courses winding through the trees is opening up in Bucks County this month.

TreeTrails Adventures in Trevose, located at the site of Phoenix Sports Club, is set for a grand opening on July 29.

According to Gina Bertucci, a spokesperson for the new attraction, TreeTrails "perfectly answers a resurgence of interest in action-packed experiences in the beauty of nature."

The park includes three trails, perfect ages 7 and up, that are color-coded by level of challenge. Trails are made of cables, ropes, and woods, and span platforms constructed around trees. "Quirky" bridges, tunnels, zip lines, and more soar up to 50 feet above the forest floor.

Three additional trails will be added by the end of the season, the company says. ZipTrails self-guided zip lines and ZipRacer dual racing zip lines are also under construction.

Staff are on hand to assure safety, help guests put on harnesses and climbing gear, and help adults get situated on adventures with their children.

The group is hopeful the attraction will fill a growing niche.

"It’s great to occasionally pause when climbing to take in a bird’s eye view of nature and experience the serenity of an old growth forest from the treetops," Bertucci adds.

The group is also planning "Glow in the Park" night adventures in mid-August.
