PA CareerLink Officially Opens New Bucks Location, Holds Job Fair
Officials said the center in the Bucks County Technology Park in Trevose is more centrally located for all Bucks County residents.
TREVOSE, PA —It's all about location and with the grand opening of its new office, PA CareerLink believes it's more centrally located to better assist job seekers in Bucks County.
CareerLink held an official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday followed by a job fair in hopes of filling vacant positions during what officials call a national labor shortage.
“Our goal is to serve as the leading source of employment connections, information, resources and opportunities for Bucks County job seekers and employers,” said Billie F. Barnes, executive director of the Bucks County department of workforce and economic development. “Bucks County boasts job opportunities at all levels and in a wide variety of fields and industries. We are thrilled to welcome the community to PA CareerLink —Bucks County’s new location in the heart of Lower Bucks, which offers a full range of services for the county’s workforce all under one roof.”
Now centrally located at Bucks County Technology Park on 4800 E. Street Road, Suite 50, CareerLink Bucks County features front-door service for riders of SEPTA’s Route 14 bus, is near SEPTA’s Trevose Station and within a mile of Routes 95 and 1 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The center is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The previous career center was in Bristol, where the county has provided career services for more than two decades.

Hundreds of job seekers, employers and residents attended the grand opening ceremony, which features a multi-industry job fair and guided tours of the newly renovated building, which will host workshops and events.
The one-stop career will also serve as the “go-to” place for everything related to job needs, including job searches, training and business engagement.

“The relocation will undoubtedly advance the critical work of CareerLink," said Bob Harvie, chairman of the Bucks County Board of Commissioners. “Dedicated workforce professionals are available in person to provide comprehensive employment, training and business services that help job seekers and employers get the tools they need for success from a single identifiable source. This increased accessibility coincides with a particularly challenging job market, making such a resource key to economic recovery throughout the county.”
The center offers:
- Improved access to public transportation, with two direct SEPTA bus stops and SEPTA’s Trevose Station nearby
- A newly renovated computer lab with more than a dozen computer stations for job seekers
- Modernized workshop spaces and meeting rooms for employers to connect with job seekers
- An out-of-school youth center for individuals ages 16 to 24 who are disconnected from education and need assistance with attaining their GED and career services
- Workspace for approximately 40 PA CareerLink® staff members and partners, including Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, Bucks County Assistance Office, Bucks County Community College, Bucks County Opportunity Council, Bureau of Workforce Partnership and Operations, Career Wardrobe, Educational Data Systems, Inc., PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Vita Education Services
- Childcare at a neighboring on-campus facility that accepts drop-ins
- 24/7 on-site security
