Tell us about your star student's accomplishments and why they deserve to be recognized on Patch!

Pietro is an 11th grade at Neshaminy high school. He is considered a star athlete by his peers. He loves playing lacrosse, however, through an unfortunate accident while playing lacrosse on the field he tore his Achilles tendon. It couldn’t have happened at a more inopportune time as there were college scouts looking for stand out La crosse players and possibly ready to offer scholarships to their institutions. Unfortunately he had to have surgery and was out of commission for quite sometime hopefully not losing the opportunity.

This didn’t hold him back, Pietro went to every practice and sat on the sidelines as a spectator while cheering the team on. He also made a commitment not to miss his prom although he had to wear a boot for support. His comment “At least it’s black & matches my suit so it won’t be too noticeable. Among his other accomplishments is that he speaks both the English and Italian language. He was recently selected & accepted to participate in the highly competitive CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) High School Internship Program.

This exceptional opportunity provides high school students with firsthand exposure to the professional services and accounting industry while developing key career and leadership skills. This young man is always ready for new challenges yet always exhibiting a respectful and humble demeanor.
