Thanksgiving Basket Drive To Help Lower Southampton Twp. Families
For the past three years, the Lower Southampton Fire Department has served as a location for the annual Liberty USO Thanksgiving Food Drive.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —For 13 years, the Lower Southampton Fire Department has held its annual Liberty USO Thanksgiving Food Drive.
The fire department is a local collection point. Donations can be made at the fire department's location at 466 Elmwood Ave. in Trevose.
Over the last 3 years, township residents were able to donate over 20 complete Thanksgiving dinners, plus an additional pantry stock of over 200 pounds of non-perishable food.

This year, with the assistance of residents, the fire department was aiming to collect enough gift cards and shelf-stable food to provide at least seven complete meal baskets.
Everything from turkey to sides, to beverages (like coffee, tea, juice, milk) to desserts, is appreciated.
