Activists to Escalate Protest At Vanguard

MALVERN, PA —Environmental activists are expected to stage a protest outside Vanguard's headquarters here to demonstrate the urgency of the climate crisis.

Earth Quaker Action Team, Extinction Rebellion Philadelphia groups plan to start the protest at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Brennan Blvd. and Foundry Way, Malvern.

Last year, local groups organized 17 protests as part of the campaign, including a civil disobedience action at Vanguard’s headquarters where eight people were arrested.

On Earth Day, April 22, 2022, more than 100 protested outside Vanguard's main building.

The year, the protest is expected to include more participants at more locations on Vanguard’s campus.
