Fundraiser To Remember Lancaster Teen In Chesco Fatal Crash
The"Live for Lucian" GoFundMe campaign is in memory of 19-year-old Lucian Robert-Popdan Li, who died in a fatal crash in East Whiteland.
LANCASTER, PA —The family and friends of a 19-year-old Lancaster County man who was fatally injured in a July 14 crash in Chester County have organized a GoFundMe campaign to help others with scholarships.
The Live for Lucian GoFundMe campaign was launched to raise funds to create a legacy for their loved one, Lucian Robert-Popdan Li.
Li was pronounced dead in Paoli Hospital as a result of his injuries suffered in the crash in which he was hit by a wrong-way driver.

The accident occurred just after midnight on Route 202, between Mill Lane and Swedesford Road, in East Whiteland Township.
Li’s family expressed appreciation for the staff at the Paoli Hospital who cared for Lucian, who they referred to as “Little Bear.”

Li was a student at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, where he was a biology major and lacrosse player.
He lived in Burlington, Vermont; Taichung, Taiwan; and Landis Run, Lancaster County. He played lacrosse at the Manheim Township School District.
“ Lacrosse became an outlet for all the physical energy that was Lucian Li but also an environment in which he could unite with cherished friends to work toward goals,” Eric Chen Ta Li wrote in a tribute on the GoFundMe page.
