The conservation easement designates the land for publicly accessible passive recreation and open space activities.

Passive recreation and open space activities are only those activities that can be carried out with little or no alteration or disruption to the natural features of the land on which they take place and which serve to preserve, restore, enhance, or maintain habitat areas for native flora and fauna.

The easement would limit the following activities or uses including the operation of pedal cycles or the construction of a bike path or “pump park."

It will also limit the use of motorized vehicles, construction, use of chemical and biological additives, disturbance of soil, signage, quarrying and excavation, groundwater removal, actions affecting streams and wetlands, dumping, and tree cutting.
