600-Plus Without Power In Marple, Newtown: PECO
As strong winds whip around the region, more than 600 PECO customers in Marple and Newtown township do not have power Friday afternoon.
MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — More than 600 PECO customers in Marple and Newtown townships are powerless, according to the utility company.
As of 4:41 p.m. Friday, 617 PECO customers in Marple Township do not have power.
In Newtown, less than five customers do not have power, PECO data show.

These customers are affected by 12 separate outages, according to PECO's outage map.
In Delaware County, PECO's map shows 2,883 customers do not have power.

PECO said power is expected to be restored later Friday afternoon for impacted Marple and Newtown customers.
