1.3K Delco PECO Customers Still Without Electricity Thursday Afternoon
At one point, about 33,000 PECO customers in Delco did not have power during Tuesday's storm. Restoration times vary, according to PECO.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — PECO crews have been hard at work to bring electricity back to its customers impacted by outages in Delaware County.
As of 3:32 p.m. Thursday, 1,294 customers in Delaware County do not have power due to 176 outages.
Crews have been working around the clock in the region to restore power after a major storm rolled through the Philadelphia region, causing flooding, downed trees, property damage, and more.

Middletown Township has the most affected customers, with 158 in the dark as of 3:32 p.m. Thursday.

The utility company anticipates power restoration for most customers who are currently without power due to the storm within the next 24 hours.
However, some may not have power until Saturday due to the severity of the damage. PECO crews are assessing damage as they make repairs, and individual estimates can change based on restoration progress and the extent of damage crews find.

The company said its crews, contractors, and support personnel will continue to work around the clock until all damage has been repaired, and all service has been restored.
As of 3:32 p.m. Thursday, a total of 6,096 PECO customers do not have power.
