Burglar Caught Defecating In Delaware County Home: State Police
Pennsylvania State Police said the man told them he broke into a local home because he had a bowel movement coming.
COLLINGDALE, PA — A local man was taken into custody after Pennsylvania State Police said he broke into a home under duress of an oncoming bowel movement.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 4:34 p.m. Jan. 12 at a home on Pusey Avenue in Collingdale.
Police were called to the home by a resident who told them a man broke into their home through the basement.

When police arrived, they found the man, identified as 44-year-old Jovan Gray of Collingdale, sitting on top of a bucket with his pants down, defecating into the bucket, in the home's kitchen.
Responding troopers noted feces all over the kitchen floor.

Authorities took Gray into custody, and he told them he broke into the home because he had to "take a s***."
Gray was charged with felony burglary, felony criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief, court records show.
He is being held after failing to post 10 percent of $30,000 bail and is scheduled for a March 26 preliminary hearing, according to court documents.
